String of Texas Fires Intentionally Set
Investigators in Southeast Texas are trying to determine who’s been starting fires this week in vacant houses.
The Port Arthur Fire Department says three structures were set ablaze during a 90-minute period ending early Thursday.
KFDM-TV reports one firefighter suffered an elbow injury and was treated and released from a hospital.
Fire Chief Larry Richard says it appears six fires since early Wednesday were intentionally set. No one has been arrested.
Damages estimates on the homes were not immediately available.
