Disaster Fund Activated for Isaac
United Ways of the Gulf Coast says it has activated the United Way Gulf Coast Disaster Fund.
A spokeswoman said money from the fund will be allocated to groups dealing with the economic, cultural, psychological or emotional) impact of Hurricane Isaac.
The fund was set up to meet community needs after the 2010 BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
