2 Killed When Car Crashes Into Texas House
Authorities say the driver of a vehicle that crashed into a Texas home and a person inside the home were found dead in the charred rubble after the impact started a fire.
San Antonio police spokesman Matthew Porter tells the San Antonio Express-News that the car was traveling at a high rate of speed early Sunday morning when the driver apparently lost control and crashed into the house, setting it and the vehicle ablaze.
Porter says the fire had consumed the house and car by the time officers arrived.
After putting out the blaze, firefighters discovered the one person dead in the car and another in the house.
