Oklahoma Teen Dies After Car Flips Due to Deer
A teenager from Owasso, Okla., died after a car she was in rolled several times after the driver swerved to try to avoid a deer.
The Saturday wreck was the second fatality of the weekend in the Tulsa area involving a deer.
Tulsa television station KOTV reports the teenagers were in a sedan when the driver tried to avoid the deer and the vehicle flipped several times.
Police say a teenage girl was partially ejected and died at a hospital. One other injured teen was taken in for treatment. Names have not been released.
Police say the teens were all students at Owasso High School and had been out bowling.
Friday night, a Coweta man died in a deer-involved wreck in Rogers County.
