Deadline Looms for Isaac Flood Insurance Claims
A deadline is approaching for Louisiana policyholders to file flood insurance claims over damage from Hurricane Isaac last year.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency says most policyholders with the National Flood Insurance Program have until April 22 to complete their proof-of-loss claims.
FEMA says the NFIP already has paid out nearly $472 million for more than 13,000 Isaac-related claims in Louisiana.
