Texas Homebuilder Workers’ Comp Group Distributing $500K to Members
Texas Homebuilder Workers’ Compensation Group (THB) announced that 2014 dividend payments to policyholders will total more than $500,000.
The program is available only to homebuilders in Texas. Founded in 2004 by members of Hotchkiss Insurance Agency LLC, THB is headquartered in Carrollton, Texas. Policyholders maintain separate policies and limits with Texas Mutual Insurance Co., the underwriter of the group. The THB group membership is free to all qualifying homebuilders and can be accessed by any Texas Mutual agent.
“The THB board and safety committee members are all policyholders and leaders within the Texas homebuilder community,” stated Jessica Goehring, group administrator and director.
Goehring said the Texas Association of Builders is an active participant in the program.
“New builders are benefiting from the risk management leadership demonstrated by large volume homebuilders and specialized custom homebuilders who are policyholders and advisors to the THB Group,” Goehring said.
