Houston Highway Awash in Beer as Truck Crashes
A beer-hauling truck accident in Houston has left two drivers slightly hurt and a leaky mess along a highway.
Police say the two-vehicle wreck early Tuesday scattered dozens of cases of beer as the truck lost its load.
Houston police are trying to determine what caused the accident that closed part of the Katy Freeway for several hours during cleanup. Authorities say the 18-wheeler ended up on its side during the collision with a car.
Police say both drivers were transported to hospitals for treatment of injuries not believed to be serious.
