Diversified Product Inspections Backs HomeCheckSafety.com During Realtor Expo
Tennessee-based Diversified Product Inspections Inc., a provider of independent product failure analysis, air contamination and fire investigations for the insurance industry, recently attended the Knoxville Board of Realtors Expo in Knoxville, Tennessee and promoted DPI’s newest service, HomeCheckSafety.com (HCS).
John VanZyll, president and CEO stated, “DPI recently had a presentation booth at the Knoxville Board of Realtors Expo in Knoxville, Tennessee and promoted its newest service, HomeCheckSafety.com to more than 2,000 attendees at this one day event. HomeCheckSafety.com is an interactive Web based service that allows homeowners to enter the names of their household products and find out what products they may have in their homes that are on recall and could fail causing damage, injury, or even death. It is estimated that two to four recalled products exist in most homes that the owners don’t know they have.
“The purpose of meeting with the realtors was to present them with a HCS trial membership so they could determine the benefits. They then could pay for a HCS gift certificate that they could use as a customer relations tool by giving HCS at closing to their clients rather than giving them a bottle of wine or flowers as a thank you gift. DPI is also presenting HCS to our insurance company clients for use as a loss prevention tool to have their policy holders identify unsafe and recalled products and remove them from their homes be for they cause a claim.”
