August 5, 2005

Miami, Fla.-based American Professional Liability Underwriters Inc. (AmPro), wholesale brokers and managing general agents, dealing exclusively in professional liability, have been appointed as managers for a new program for Miscellaneous Professional Liability in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi.

This new program, written through an A+ XV non-admitted carrier, will provide coverage for most professions falling into the miscellaneous category. All other classes can be handled by AmPro’s brokerage facilities.

AmPro is an established Florida Professional Liability wholesaler, recently expanded its writings into these other southeastern states. It is one of the few wholesalers in the Southeast dedicated solely to the placement of Professional Liability lines.

This new Miscellaneous E & O facility provides AmPro with the ability to rapidly quote and bind qualified accounts at competitive rates.

“This new facility is the perfect compliment to our very broad brokerage facilities,” Rob Kenney, AmPro president explained. “We now are able to offer our producers a market heretofore unavailable in the Southeast, plus what is possibly the best line-up of brokerage facilities available for these classes of business.”

AmPro works only though retail insurance agents and is an independent wholesaler not owned or affiliated with any retail agency. AmPro writes all classes of professional liability including D&O and EPL.
