Georgia Investigators Look for Cause of Fire that Displaced 25 Families
Georgia investigators are trying to determine the cause of an apartment fire in Augusta in which one firefighter sustained minor injuries.
About 25 families have been displaced by the fire that damaged multiple units in the complex near Interstate 20.
No other injuries were reported in the fire at the River Creek Apartments that broke out on March 12.
Authorities haven’t released a cause, but arson investigators are on the scene. Flames as high as 70 feet high were visible.
