Mutual Assurance Acquires Tennessee-based Pittman & Associates
Mutual Assurance Administrators Inc. (MAA) of Oklahoma City has acquired Pittman & Associates Inc. (P&A) of Tennessee.
Mutual Assurance Administrators Inc. is a third-party administrator specializing in management of employer sponsored benefit programs. Founded in 1975, MAA offers claims administration for self-funded benefit plans, URAC accredited medical management programs, FSA administration as well as other services, including workers’ compensation administration.
P&A, a 27-year old employee benefits firm and TPA headquartered in Memphis, will continue to operate under the name Pittman & Associates. The existing staff will remain in place and business operations will remain unchanged.
This new relationship expands the resources of MAA, which now operates five TPAs in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas and Tennessee.
