SUV Crashes into Georgia Store, 3 Hurt
Two public safety employees were hurt while attempting to rescue a driver who had crashed her sport utility vehicle into a building in downtown Douglas, Georgia.
The accident happened Aug. 7.
The impact caused a storefront wall to collapse injuring two firefighters and a police officer.
Police said the driver, 29-year-old Yolanda Seabrook, apparently lost control of the SUV and crashed into the front window of a local upholstery store.
The three escaped serious injuries and were treated and released.
The building sustained heavy damage.
