Unlicensed Adjusters Coming to Kentucky Must File State Form
Companies sending unlicensed adjusters to Kentucky to assist with the large number of claims from the Sept. 13 and Sept.14 storms must complete state form 8307, according to the Kentucky Department of Insurance.
The form must be completed by the insurer, not the individual adjuster or other entity.
Tips for completing the form:
-In the upper right corner, enter the catastrophe serial No. 60 with dates of Sept. 13 to Sept. 14.
-The insurer must complete the fields in the top left corner including company name and FEIN.
-The form must be signed. The telephone number of the person signing the form must be included.
-The Kentucky Department of Insurance will approve 90 consecutive days for unlicensed adjusters listed on the form only if each field is completed..
-Once the form is completed, it may be e-mailed to koiagentlicensingmail@ky.gov.
