Florida Families Left Homeless after Apartment Fire
A dozen families are forced to find temporary shelter after a blaze at an apartment complex in Broward County, Fla.
The fire broke out around 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 12 in the kitchen of an apartment on the fourth floor.
Two residents were treated for minor injuries. Smoke and water damaged 12 units.
The American Red Cross is helping those temporarily displaced from their apartments with food and a place to stay.
