Florida Man Charged with Letting 12-Year Old Son Drive SUV
Florida authorities say a 12-year-old boy crashed a sport utility vehicle after his father asked him to drive.
Tampa police say 32-year-old Adrian Kegler was arrested Saturday night after the crash. Officers say Kegler smelled like alcohol.
The damage to the SUV and another vehicle was reported as minor. The occupant of the other vehicle was eight months pregnant and went to a hospital for precautionary reasons.
Kegler was charged with culpable negligence with actual injury, permitting an unauthorized person to drive and child neglect. He was later released from jail on $8,250 bail.
