Tennessee City Waives Building Permit Fees for Flood Victims
Owners of flood-damaged homes in East Ridge who are repairing or rebuilding are required to get city building permits, but the fees have been waived.
Officials in the Chattanooga suburb said it is illegal to make repairs without obtaining a permit from the city.
The permits available at the codes enforcement office at East Ridge City Hall are to ensure that repairs are properly completed
