3 in Mississippi Plead Guilty to Auto Insurance Fraud
Three people have entered guilty pleas for insurance fraud involving staged auto accidents Yazoo County in Mississippi.
According to Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood, the three are Kevin Jones and Kildrick Deering, both of Lexington, and Melissa Gates of Yazoo City and Kildrick.
Hood saod that an investigation showed that Jones, Gates and Deering staged an auto accident in order to fraudulently obtain funds from an insurance company.
The cases were prosecuted by Special Assistant Attorney General Marvin Sanders of the Insurance Fraud Division of the Attorney General’s Office.
