Popular Kentucky Halloween Attraction Burns
A popular Halloween attraction in western Kentucky sustained heavy damage in a 2-acre fire that remains under investigation.
Talon Falls, which draws thousands each October, caught fire around 8 p.m. CST Wednesday. Graves County Emergency Management director Jamey Locke told The Paducah Sun that flames tore through the property’s outdoor mazes and two other structures. High winds also pushed the fire into a field behind the property before it was contained.
WPSD-TV reported the cause of the blaze remained under investigation Thursday.
Locke said fire trucks from at least seven different stations involved in containing the fire.
Talon Falls has been open 12 years as a Halloween and moved from McCracken County to Graves County in 2009.
