SBA Deadline Approaches for West Virginia Disaster Loans
Small businesses and nonprofit organizations in parts of West Virginia that sustained damage from storms, drought and other weather-related events last year have a month left to apply for federal relief.
Businesses in Cabell, Mason, Pleasants, Tyler, Wayne and Wood counties have until May 31 to apply for U.S. Small Business Administration disaster loans for weather-related losses that occurred from April 1 through Aug. 3, 2010.
The SBA said that businesses can borrow up to $2 million. It says agricultural producers, farmers and ranchers are ineligible for the loans.
