Tennessee Man Cut by Chain Saw During Storm Cleanup
A Chattanooga man cleaning up from recent storms has been seriously hurt when he was hit by a running chain saw being used to cut tree limbs.
Police said Jona Daniel was cut on the side and back of his head and across his left wrist in the accident Monday afternoon.
Officers said he was holding a ladder that another man was standing on when a heavy limb fell from a tree. The other man jumped off the ladder to avoid the limb and in doing so, Daniel was cut with the chain saw.
Daniel was conscious and alert when emergency personnel arrived. He was bandaged and taken to a hospital.
