Hair Extension Thieves Hit Georgia Beauty Shop
Police say they are searching for thieves who smashed through a glass door and grabbed hair extensions valued at $50,000 from a store in south Atlanta.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports police say surveillance video shows three masked men struck the Beauty Masters II store in the Camp Creek Marketplace shopping center early Tuesday. The video shows the three grabbing single-strand weaves from the shelves before fleeing.
On June 16, thieves smashed their way into another business owned by the same individual in Atlanta and took $30,000 in hair extensions that individually sold for $140 and up.
