Equipment Stolen from Disaster Relief Group
Police in western Kentucky are investigating after several thousand dollars’ worth of tools were stolen from a disaster relief group.
The Livingston County Sheriff says the tools include chain saws, an air compressor, tool boxes, a power washer and various other items. They belonged to the Ohio River Baptist Association’s Disaster Relief Group. The group helps communities with storm cleanup and rebuilding when disasters hit.
Eddy Osburn, who is director of the group, told The Paducah Sun that the theft “just about puts us completely out of the business.”
