Hot Light Bulb Causes Small Fire on Florida Disney Ride
Officials say the Astro Orbiter ride at the Magic Kingdom has been shut down because of a small fire.
The fire started Sunday morning shortly after the park opened. Officials say no one was injured and there was no word when the ride would reopen.
The Orlando Sentinel reports the fire was caused by a hot light bulb.
Bo Jones of Reedy Creek Emergency Services says the fire was caused by a hot light bulb.
The Astro Orbiter is a rocket ride.
Disney spokeswoman Zoraya Suarez sys the rest of Tomorrowland remained open throughout the day. It was not clear when the ride would re-open.
