Police Investigate String of Thefts at Kentucky Churches
Police are investigating after a string of break-ins were reported at churches in Bath County, Kentucky.
One church, the Grace Tabernacle, reported more than $1,000 in missing equipment, according to WKYT-TV.
The most recent break-in was reported at Slate Valley Christian Church, where Pastor Steve Meadows said missing items were noticed as people began to prepare for worship last Sunday.
The break-ins haven’t deterred the churches from holding service. In fact, Meadows said his church prayed for those responsible.
Other churches that have been hit include the Church of Latter-Day Saints, Bailey’s Chapel, and the Salt Lick Church of God.
