Three Fires Damage Neighboring Businesses in Georgia Suburb
Fire officials in the Atlanta suburb of Marietta are investigating three blazes at nearby businesses.
CBS Atlanta reports that AquaRama Pools and Spas was damaged by one blaze. Authorities said a beauty salon was also heavily damaged by another fire.
Marietta fire Commander Steve Ingram tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that concrete blocks had been thrown through windows of both businesses.
Authorities say those fires broke out around 1 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of Powder Springs Street. Fire officials say they were still at the scene when another fire broke out around 4 a.m. at an auto repair shop about a block away.
It was not immediately clear whether the fires were related, or what caused them.
Marietta is about 20 miles northwest of Atlanta.
