Thieves Accused of Taking Guns from South Carolina Store
Richland County, S.C., sheriff’s deputies are looking for two people who crashed a pickup truck into a gun shop and took off with a number of weapons.
Deputies say the theft occurred early Monday morning.
Darrell Tracht of TT&H Firearms says the suspects drove the truck through the front doors of the building and then took about 22 assault weapons and pistols. Deputies say the suspects were in the store for less than one minute.
Tracht estimates the damage to the building and loss of inventory at about $100,000.
