Mississippi Pawn Shop Unwitting Participant in Stolen Goods Scheme
A , Columbus, Miss., pawn shop was an unwitting participant in the sale of stolen goods, according to Columbus Police Department.
Officer Glenda Buckhalter tells the Commercial Dispatch the shop, Rings and Strings, bought stolen music equipment valued at several thousand dollars as well as a small enclosed trailer on Aug. 4.
The equipment was recovered from the shop by Columbus officers and Newton County sheriff’s deputies.
Police said a suspect in the case, identified as Derrick Henley, is being sought.
