GEICO’s Macon Office Looking to Add 500 New Employees
GEICO has put up a big “Help Wanted” sign at its Macon, Ga., office in order to hire new associates to keep up with the company’s strong policyholder growth. The Macon office, which already employs more than 5,400 associates, has identified more than 500 new positions that it would like to add this year.
“Opportunities abound at GEICO,” said Rhett Rayburn, Macon Southeast regional vice president. “Last year close to one-fourth of GEICO associates throughout the country received at least one promotion, so in addition to keeping up with growth we also need to bring on new associates to step into those roles.”
Available job openings include:
- Entry-level positions in sales, customer service, claims, emergency roadside service, glass claims and salvage total loss.
- Positions for college graduates in liability claims customer service positions and the Management Development Program (MDP), one of GEICO’s leadership programs.
