North Carolina Man Arrested for Alleged Insurance Fraud
Samuel Nathaniel Sartor, a North Carolina resident, was arrested and charged with one count each of insurance fraud and attempting to obtain property by false pretense.
Department of Insurance criminal investigators allege that on Feb. 8, 2014, Sartor provided false and misleading information to Sentry Insurance Company in an attempt to collect funds for damage to his vehicle, even though he had previously filed a claim for that damage and had been paid by State Farm Insurance Company.
Sartor was arrested by the Elizabethtown Police Department on May 1and placed under a $10,000 bond.
