Tennessee Investigators Say Fire at Old Winery Suspicious
Investigators in Jackson, Tenn., say a fire at the Old Medina Winery that burned the building to the ground appears to be suspicious.
The investigation into the blaze that started Saturday morning is ongoing. No one was hurt in the fire at the mostly empty building.
Madison County fire Chief Eric Turner told The Jackson Sun investigators will look at burn patterns to see where the fire originated. Turner says multiple starting points for such a fire would lead investigators to believe the blaze was intentionally set.
Guests at a Residence Inn across the street from the winery saw the building engulfed in flames at about 3 a.m. Saturday.
