West Virginia Receives Federal Aid for 2013 Storm Cleanup
WorkForce West Virginia has received more than $203,000 in federal funding to help pay for an ongoing cleanup following severe storms and flooding in 2013.
The U.S. Department of Labor says the $203,940 emergency grant will be used to continue the temporary employment of workers to help with the cleanup.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency declared Mason and Roane counties eligible for public assistance following storms and flooding on June 13, 2013.
