Mississippi Insurance Department Issues Alert After Agent Charged
Mississippi’s Insurance Department says an Indianola insurance agent has surrendered his license.
A release from Commissioner Mike Chaney says Randal Ray Henson was charged in Sunflower County with false pretense. Chaney said the charge is related to allegations that Henson failed to forward premium payments to insurance carriers.
Chaney says anyone who purchased a policy from Mid-Delta Insurance Agency or Mr. Henson needs to be aware that their premium payment may not have been sent to their insurance carrier.
A message seeking comment from the Mid-Delta Insurance office in Indianola was not immediately returned Saturday.
