Utah’s WC Fund to Host Free Safety Seminars
Workers Compensation Fund (WCF) will host seven safety seminars for Utah employers in March. Scheduled courses include workplace ergonomics, preventing sprains and strains, return-to-work programs, defensive driving, landscaping safety, industrial hygiene and a safety roundtable.
“Attending these seminars, will teach employers and safety managers how to minimize their exposure and costs, while creating a positive and safe working environment for their employees,” Steve Erickson, assistant vice president, WCF safety and loss prevention, said. “We encourage anyone who is involved in business as an owner, manager and/or staff involved with safety management to attend these seminars.”
