Barker Walters Grows Litigation Practice
San Diego-based Barker Walters (www.barkerwalters.com) announced David Hutch joined the firm as an associate attorney to support the firm’s litigation practice.
Hutch gained experience at the Office of Distrcit Attorney for San Diego County, assisting in prosecuting state misdemeanors and in administering misdemeanor jury trials. In addition, he served in the legal department of a North County Corporation encompassing nearly 2,500 employees. Hutch concentrated in commercial litigation and employment law, encompassing complex antitrust, employment and intellectual property issues for state and federal claims.
Barker Walters insurance defense practice serves to defend both the insurance company’s’ insureds in third-party liability cases and the carriers themselves in bad faith litigation.
Hutch is currently working on various litigation matters, including: Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) claims, insurance defense and unlawful detainer actions.
