Pima County Risk Management Utilizes Belfor Services
During the months of June and July, wild fires destroyed 362 homes and 16 businesses in the town of Summerhaven, Arizona, located just 42 miles north of Tucson.
The day after fire fighters released the mountain, Belfor USA’s Phoenix office mobilized men and equipment.
One week into the project, Belfor set up a base camp in the tradition of the Wild West. In the center of town at 7,000 feet elevation Belfor has two mobile bunkhouses and an office with a satellite connection. Belfor has signed a contract with Pima County Risk Management for clean up on the top of the mountain and has already completed multiple clean ups and started with repairs to a few of the damaged homes that remain.
Belfor, a provider in integrated disaster recovery and restoration services, has 50 full-service offices throughout the United States. Belfor offers 24/7 emergency response; reconstruction; structural dehumidification; mold remediation; document; electronics restoration; machinery refurbishment; and vital records recovery.
