Cooks Collison Goes With ADP Claims Services Group’s Shoplink for All Bay Area Shops
California-based ADP Claims Services Group, a provider of integrated business solutions for the property and casualty, collision repair and automotive recycling industries, announced Cooks Collision will use Shoplink, ADP’s computerized estimating system, in all of its 13 shops. Cooks Collision is one of the largest consolidators in the San Francisco Bay Area and in California.
“We wanted a solution to increase our capture rate of assignments from DRP relationships and balance our load level,” said Rick Wood, co-owner of Cooks Collision. “With Shoplink, we found the progressive technology we were looking for.”
Co-owner Don Wood said Cooks needed a solution that was more efficient in uploading and distributing claims to insurance companies than its prior estimating systems. The efficiency gains from Shoplink will reportedly help Cooks achieve its goal to increase its ratio between direct-repair program and non-DRP business. DRP repairs comprise 60 percent of Cooks’ business now.
