WorldGroup Unveils InsureWorx FROI, Latest in Series of On Demand Solutions
At RIMS Annual Conference & Exhibition in San Diego on Monday, components-based insurance software provider, WorldGroup (www.worldgroup.com), a San Francisco-based company, introduced InsureWorx First Report of Injury (FROI), the latest InsureWorx On Demand Solution (ODS).
The new FROI capabilities reportedly offer exceptional efficiency and customer service to the First Report of Injury process, enabling efficient and timely intervention – critically important to controlling overall costs of workplace injury claims.
The new FROI capabilities enhance the InsureWorx product suite and growing library of InsureWorx On Demand Solutions. In addition to the new FROI capabilities, InsureWorx offers components to support electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP), Underwriting, Billing, Policy and Claims administration.
InsureWorx utilizes “pure” JavaTM 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) architecture, implemented with IBM’s WebSphere Application Server; a Legacy replacement technology of choice for mid- and large-volume insurance carriers. With InsureWorx, carriers are afforded all of the fully integrated, open standard, Web-based advantages J2EE provides over older technologies. InsureWorx provides a broad technical stance for whatever Web-based services one desires or are required to provide, today and in the future.
The First Report of Injury solution reportedly provides exceptional efficiency and customer service by facilitating communication between:
* The Injured party;
* Claims intake function personnel or systems;
* Safety, triage and case intervention;
* Claims initiation processes and staff;
* Regulatory Agencies.
