Valley Oak Systems CEO Finalist for Award
Randy Wheeler, founder and CEO of California-based Valley Oak Systems Inc., was named a finalist by professional services firm Ernst & Young LLP for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2004 Awards in Northern California.
Valley Oak Systems, a national provider of claims management software, services and support, was selected from 64 nominations in Northern California by a panel of judges comprised of local community and business leaders. Award recipients will be announced at an awards banquet on June 18 at the Fairmont San Francisco, atop Nob Hill.
Wheeler launched Valley Oak Systems in 1994 to provide the insurance industry with software solutions that offer fully-featured claims administration and risk management capabilities.
Today, Valley Oak Systems provides software, technical services and support to insurance carriers, self-insured employers, public entities, risk pools, and third-party administrators. Its flagship product iVOSĀ® is a browser-based, “one-system” solution that integrates claims management, risk management, document imaging, and bill review capabilities for multiple lines of insurance, including workers’ compensation, general liability, property, auto, professional liability, and disability.
Northern California winners will be eligible for consideration for the
Entrepreneur Of The Year 2004 national program. Winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, Calif., in November 2004.
