AIA Appoints Employers Direct’s Little to National Workers’ Comp Committee
The American Insurance Association (AIA) has appointed James Little, chairman, president and CEO of California-based Employers Direct Insurance Company, to its workers’ compensation committee.
The appointment recognizes Little’s past leadership in California and
nationally during his 35 years in the workers’ comp business.
It also assures Little’s participation and contribution in support of AIA’s efforts to influence the formulation of public policy, legislation and regulation in workers’ comp matters.
“Political, legal and regulatory changes are occurring so rapidly that it is urgent and important for business leaders to take an active role in helping to facilitate solutions and influence outcomes in their respective business areas,” Little said. “I am very pleased to receive this appointment and to be in a position to support AIA’s efforts by serving on the standing committee.”
