Employers Insurance Co. of Nevada Receives Awards
Employers Insurance Company of Nevada, A Mutual Company (EICN), announced that two staff members received recognition at the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) annual conference in Pittsburgh.
At the conference, Jane Maurer, underwriting manager of EICN’s Henderson Division, was recognized as National Award Winner in the NAIW’s “Communicate With Confidence” competition. Maurer competed in the public speaking competition against several other insurance industry professionals from across the nation.
In addition, EICN staff member Carol Burke was awarded a scholarship from the National Alliance for Insurance Research and Education. Burke’s scholarship affords her complimentary attendance to a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) course. The CISR designation is earned upon successful completion of five related courses.
The companies operating under the trade name Employers Insurance Group provide workers’ compensation insurance, claims management, loss prevention consulting, underwriting and care management services.
