Corkey, Former CPCU El Camino Chapter President Passes
Timothy Corkery, 92, former president of the El Camino, Calif., chapter of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting Society from 1993-1994, has died.
Corkey worked in the insurance industry for more than 35 years, and in 1999 received the a lifetive achievement award. He was widowed twice, preceded in death by his first wife, Merle “Mike”; and his second wife, Elizabeth. Tim married his third wife, Audrey, in 1986. He is survived by his wife, Audrey; daughter, Tina Stoner; and son, Shawn; plus three step-daughters, a step-son, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass was held on Friday, July 13, 2007, at St. Bernardine Catholic Church.
“He will be greatly missed by all who knew, and we honor his service to our chapter,” said Allen Zeichik, president-elect of CPCU
