Barney and Barney Seeks Gloves, Masks to Assist Fire Victims
Barney & Barney announced it is collecting gloves and masks to assist with fire cleanup in San Diego.
According to the company, gloves and breathing masks are the most difficult items to find as fire victims return to their lost homes and start sifting through the ashes. Barney & Barney hopes to help collect those much needed items, and get them into the hands of the appropriate people.
“With this in mind, we are sending out this request for help to our clients, colleagues, vendors and friends in parts of the country where these items are readily available, to quickly collect gloves and masks and send them to Barney & Barney,” the company said. “You can purchase the masks at your local drug store and the gloves at any hardware store. For masks, please note that N95 and P100 breathing masks are best suited to block particles from ash. For gloves we’re looking for leather in all adult sizes. We will gather your donations and send them home with our team members to distribute to the fire victims throughout their communities.”
Items should be sent overnight to:
Barney & Barney LLC
Attn: Fire Recovery
9171 Towne Center Dr., STE 500
San Diego, CA 92122
The company requests that if a large amount of boxes will be sent, please call 858-550-4966 so it can prepare appropriate storage space.
