Idaho Woman Pleads Guilty to Insurance Fraud
A Canyon County, Idaho, woman has pleaded guilty to insurance fraud and grand theft after submitting a false burglary claim under her renter’s insurance policy to State Farm Insurance company.
Jennifer Fisher, 36, admitted in 3rd District Court that she falsified the November 2006 insurance claim. She collected more than $7,900 under the claim.
She faces up to 15 years in prison for the insurance fraud. Sentencing is scheduled for January.
