Woman Falls, Files Tort Against Idaho County
A woman who says she fell off an uneven sidewalk in the Nez Perce County, Idaho, parking lot has filed a claim for damages against the count.
Donah J. Sonokey of Lewiston said she suffered a swollen leg and cuts on her arm, elbow and knee when she fell off the sidewalk on Nov. 21. She didn’t specify the amount of money she was seeking in the tort claim.
State law requires that a claim be filed against a public entity before a lawsuit can be brought.
