Sacramento Man Arrested in Connection With Vehicle Arson

In February 2008, Henderson filed a police report and an insurance claim, allegedly stating that his 2003 GMC Yukon had been stolen from his driveway. Ten days after the police report was filed, the Sacramento Police Department recovered the vehicle, which had been completely burned. Through the course of a CDI investigation, Henderson allegedly confessed to his involvement in the staged theft and burning of his vehicle. Henderson allegedly attempted to defraud his insurance company of $22,000.
If convicted of all counts, Henderson could face up to five years in prison. This case is being prosecuted by the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office.
