CNA Announces Claim Director for New Western Service Center
CNA insurance companies has appointed Richard Vonesh claim director for its new Western Service Center in Denver. Vonesh, who has more than 20 years experience in the claims field, joined CNA in 2002 as service center claim director for the Central and Western territories. He most currently served as claim director and acting liaison for the Western Service Center project.
As part of his initial duties, Vonesh will lead orientation for the Claim Express Center Trainee Class, this fall. In concert with CNA’s Express Center team in Reading, Pa., the team in the Western Service Center will process a range of low-severity, high-frequency claims, including auto, general liability, and property claims.
Scheduled to open with full functionality by the second quarter of 2011, the new Western Service Center will enable CNA to expand its service center capabilities to the Western portion of the country to better serve its customer base. Ultimately, the new Service Center will create approximately 300 positions and provide increased career path options for employees within claim, worldwide operations, as well as underwriting support operations.
CNA is finalizing its search for a permanent location for its Service Center; until then, existing space within CNA’s Denver branch office will be used.
