California Motel Sued Over Bedbug Bites
Three women are suing a Southern California motel because of bedbug bites.
Nicole Eatman, Vera Domini, and Regina Martocci have filed suit in Los Angeles against the Rodeway Inn-Regalodge Motel in Glendale, as well as its franchiser Choice Hotels International Inc. Trial is scheduled for May 2.
The women want restitution for medical bills and mental anguish for dozens of bedbug bites during their three-day stay in October 2009.
Choice Hotels spokesman David Peikin told the Los Angeles Times that the motel is an independently owned and operated franchise and he declined comment.
