Nevada City Attorney Facing DUI, Hit-Run Charges
Henderson’s city attorney told police she’d had “bottles” of wine and acknowledged she was intoxicated after crashing her vehicle into landscaping and a fire hydrant in the middle of the afternoon near a casino.
A police report made public Tuesday says Elizabeth Quillin was arrested after witnesses told police she first tried to drive her Lexus RX400 away and then tried to walk away from the 2:50 p.m. Monday crash near the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa & Casino.
Henderson police didn’t report any injuries in the crash.
The 51-year-old Quillen spent several hours in the Henderson city jail and was released pending a Wednesday appearance in Henderson Justice Court.
She’s facing driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident and open container charges.
