Family Escapes From Burning Rental Jeep in Hawaii
A family of tourists is safe after escaping from a burning rental jeep on a dirt road on Kauai.
The Kauai Fire Department says the family of four had crossed the Wailua Stream off Loop Road Sunday and had gone about 150 yards when the jeep’s engine burst into flames and spread to the entire vehicle.
The family was able to get out of the vehicle without any injuries.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze.
