Unlocked-door Burglaries Spike in Oregon City
Lt. Cord Wood told the Gazette-Times most of the burglaries happened at night. Burglars walked out with valuables – mostly jewelry and electronics – worth nearly $25,000.
The average number of unforced burglaries in Corvallis is about nine a month. Police urge residents to lock their doors.
